Suresh Heblikar moves HC against widening of NH in Belagavi region
Noted film-maker and environmentalist Suresh Heblikar on Friday moved the Karnataka High Court questioning the legality of the National Highways Authority of India’s (NHAI) project of widening the NH-4A through the forests reserves, elephant corridors, and tiger reserve in Belagavi region, by felling thousands of trees for this purpose.
