Stock market update: Power stocks up as market rises
NEW DELHI: Power shares closed higher in the Friday’s session.
NLC India(up 5.35%), JSW Energy(up 5.02%), Karma Energy(up 4.93%), Transformers and Rectifiers(India)(up 4.03%), NTPC(up 3.59%), DPSC(up 3.54%), Gujarat Industries Power(up 1.79%), NHPC(up 1.73%), Tata Power Company(up 1.65%) and GE Power India Limited(up 1.36%) stood among the top gainers.
