State oil firms reduce jet fuel prices by 10%

NEW DELHI: State oil companies slashed jet fuel prices by 10% on Monday to align domestic rates with international prices that have been falling under pressure from waning demand as coronavirus curtails air travel globally.

For domestic airlines, jet fuel will now be available for Rs 56,859 per kilo litre in Delhi, down 10.3% from the rates in February, according to Indian Oil Corp website. For international airlines, the new price is $592.58 per kilo litre. This is the second straight cut in ATF prices state oil companies announce at the beginning of every month.
