SpiceJet case: Third party agency to inspect condition of engine to avoid dispute later on, HC says

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked cash-strapped airline SpiceJet and the lessor Engine Lease Finance BV to look for a give the name of a third party agency to inspect and certify the present condition of the engine in aid of being sent back to Brussels on ‘as is where is basis’.

Setting up of a third party agency would ensure that there is no dispute later between the two over the condition of the engine. The case will be next heard on February 19.
