Sopore villages face unscheduled power cuts
Several villages of this north Kashmir town are facing prolonged power cuts, compounding problems of people.
Residents of Bomai, Logripora, Tujjar, Goripora, and several other villages said for the past one week the power scenario has worsened as the department was resorting to unscheduled and frequent power cuts.
“We are being supplied electricity for just two hours day. The power schedule has gone for a toss,” said Feroz Ahmad, a resident of Bomai.
He said power availability could help engage youngsters stay indoors by watching televisions and listening to program on tackling coronavirus infection.
