Soon Uttar Pradesh is going to get gift of 5 new airports : Jyotiraditya Scindia
Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia on Saturday said that this year Uttar Pradesh will get the “gift” of five new airports. He said that the year has brought a new dawn for the aviation sector in the state.
“The year 2024 has brought a new dawn for the aviation sector of Uttar Pradesh. Soon the state is going to get the gift of 5 new airports,” said Scindia.
These new airports will be constructed in Aligarh, Azamgarh, Shravasti, Chitrakoot and Moradabad.
Going back to the year 2014, when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) first came to power in the country, he said, “In 2014 only six airports were operational in Uttar Pradesh”.
