Solar Prices in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu has cancelled an auction it held in Jan-Feb 2017 to allot 500 MW of solar projects, because Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Co (Tangedco) found the winning bid of Rs 4.40 per unit too high. The discom sent letters to the successful bidders asking them to take back the bank guarantee they had submitted.
