Solar power illuminates remote Tripura village after 80 years, brightens life
Sarkhipara (Tripura), Lifestyle in remote tribal hamlet of Sarkhipara in Tripura’s Khowai district has gone a sea change as, after remaining in the dark for 80 years, it is now shining bright with the help of solar power.
After sundown, children now study under electric bulbs, while men make bamboo-based traditional handicrafts and women weave tribal attires under the cool air of ceiling fans.
