SJVN’s highest daily power output

The SJVN’s 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station has achieved the highest-ever daily generation of 39.507 million units. It’s the highest single day power generation ever since the project was commissioned.

“The NJHPS is designed to generate 36 MU per day at 100 per cent availability during the high flow season. Against this, the power station has generated 39.507 million units. In the fiscal year, the power station has been operating at the highest ever plant availability factor of 110.114 per cent, superseding the previous record of 109.971 per cent,” said SJVN chairman Nand Lal Sharma.
