SJVN, BHEL in MoU for solar projects
NEW DELHI: SJVNNSE -1.75 % Ltd on Tuesday said it has entered into a MoU with Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd for development of solar power projects in India.
The MoU aims at building a strategic partnership between the parties for jointly pursuing commercial solar power projects through participation in tariff/viability gap funding based competitive bidding process.
As per MoU, BHELNSE -0.89 % will be an engineering, procurement, construction and project management contractor for SJVN projects. In addition to this, BHEL will also provide operation and maintenance services after commissioning of project.
