Singapore, India to resume daily flights from Nov 29
Indian travellers would now be able to visit Singapore through a vaccinated travel lane (VTL). From November 29, India will resume daily flights from Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi to Singapore. The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and the Ministry of Civil Aviation have reached an agreement on the resumption of scheduled commercial passenger flights. Airlines will now announce their schedule for these flights. The Pioneer has earlier reported that discussions are ongoing between authorities from Singapore and India for resumption of commercial flights via VTL.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), the airlines can also operate non-VTL flights between India and Singapore and this will facilitate quarantine-free travel with six designated VTL flights daily from Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai.
