Sigh of relief, no power tariff hike in Chandigarh
The UT Engineering Department has submitted a proposal for not increasing the power tariff for the 2022-23 fiscal to the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC).
The submission was made in the annual revenue requirement and tariff proposal for 2022-23 to the JERC. The department proposed to continue the existing tariff as approved by commission for 2021-22 on March 30, 2021.
