Shares of Vedanta rise as Nifty gains

Shares of Vedanta Ltd. gained 0.97 per cent to Rs 238.55 in Friday’s trade as of 10:15AM (IST). It hit a high of Rs 240.45 and low of Rs 236.3 during the session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 340.75 and a low of Rs 230.15. The return on equity for the stock stood at 26.82 per cent. About 338,966 shares have changed hands on the counter so far.
