Share price of REC jumps as Sensex drops 22.57 points
Share price of REC NSE 0.88 % Ltd. gained 1.02 per cent to Rs 154.15 at 10:41AM (IST) in Friday’s trade. The counter hit a high of Rs 154.85 and low of Rs 152.5 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 152.6 in the previous session.
The counter had a total traded volume of 10:41AM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 0.78 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 3.63 and a price-to-book ratio of 0.5.
A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
