Share price of Petronet LNG Ltd. jumps as Sensex gains 337.04 points
Share price of Petronet LNGNSE 0.71 % Ltd. gained 1.08 per cent to Rs 257.05 at 02:08PM (IST) in Friday’s trade. The scrip hit a high of Rs 259.4 and low of Rs 251.3 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 254.3 in the previous session.
The counter had a total traded volume of 02:08PM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 1.88 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 13.78 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.76.
A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
