Share price of Petronet LNG Ltd. jumps as Sensex gains 265.36 points
Share price of Petronet LNGNSE 1.30 % Ltd. gained 1.14 per cent to Rs 226.6 at 12:53PM (IST) in Wednesday’s trade. The counter hit a high of Rs 228.6 and low of Rs 224.1 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 224.05 in the previous session.
The counter had a total traded volume of 12:53PM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 0.38 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 12.16 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.32.
A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
