Share price of Petronet LNG Ltd. jumps as Sensex gains 258.37 points
Share price of Petronet LNGNSE 0.65 % Ltd. gained 2.54 per cent to Rs 266.2 at 10:20AM (IST) in Wednesday’s trade. The scrip hit a high of Rs 267.3 and low of Rs 260.45 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 259.6 in the previous session.
The counter had a total traded volume of 10:20AM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 0.75 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 14.27 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.9.
A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
