Share price of Petronet LNG Ltd. falls as Sensex gains 1151.23 points
Share price of Petronet LNGNSE -1.18 % Ltd. dropped 2.15 per cent to Rs 248.6 at 01:35PM (IST) in Monday’s trade. The scrip hit a high of Rs 259.9 and low of Rs 247.15 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 254.05 in the previous session.
The counter had a total traded volume of 01:35PM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 1.34 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 13.33 and a price-to-book ratio of 3.64.
A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
