Share price of Petronet LNG falls as Sensex gains 443.28 points
The share price of Petronet LNG NSE -0.15 % Ltd. dropped 1.19 per cent to Rs 233.4 at 01:36PM (IST) in Wednesday’s trade. The counter has hit a high of Rs 238.5 and low of Rs 232.6 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 236.2 in the previous session.
The counter has had a total traded volume of 103326 shares so far with a value of Rs 2.42 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 11.24 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.86.
A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
