Share price of IGL falls as Sensex gains 40.68 points
The share price of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. dropped 0.27 per cent to Rs 495.3 at 12:50PM (IST) in Thursday’s trade. The counter has hit a high of Rs 500.8 and low of Rs 490.85 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 496.65 in the previous session.
The counter has had a total traded volume of 183202 shares so far with a value of Rs 9.04 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 23.83 and a price-to-book ratio of 5.64.
A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
