Share price of HPCL falls as Sensex gains 325.29 points
Share price of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. dropped 2.05 per cent to Rs 317.95 at 01:26PM (IST) in Thursday’s trade. The scrip hit a high of Rs 326.2 and low of Rs 315.0 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 324.6 in the previous session.
The counter had a total traded volume of 01:26PM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 2.08 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 4.82 and a price-to-book ratio of 0.89.
A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
