Share market update: PSU shares trade higher; GAIL jumps 5%

NEW DELHI: Shares of PSUs were trading in the positive zone in Tuesday’s afternoon session.

Shares of GAIL (India) (up 5.09 per cent) , Power GridNSE 0.13 % Corporation of India (up 2.3 per cent) , NTPC (up 1.67 per cent) , Bharat Heavy Electricals (up 1.44 per cent) , Container Corporation of India (up 1.44 per cent) , Steel Authority of India (up 1.2 per cent) , HPCL (up 1.07 per cent) , Power Finance Corporation (up 0.76 per cent) , Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (up 0.75 per cent) , Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 0.67 per cent) , Indian Oil Corporation (up 0.43 per cent) and NMDC Ltd (up 0.18 per cent) were among the top gainers.
