Share market update: Power shares up; Torrent Power climbs 5%
NEW DELHI: The BSE Power index was up in Wednesday’s morning session.
Shares of Torrent Power (up 4.88 per cent), Reliance Infrastructure (up 4.75 per cent), GMR Infrastructure (up 2.04 per cent), KEC International (up 1.56 per cent), Adani Transmissions (up 1.36 per cent), Adani Power (up 1.24 per cent), Siemens (up 0.89 per cent), Thermax (up 0.89 per cent), JSW Energy (up 0.79 per cent), Kalpataru Power Transmission (up 0.52 per cent), Tata Power Company (up 0.44 per cent), ABB India Ltd (up 0.39 per cent) and Bharat Heavy Electricals (up 0.25 per cent) were among the top gainers.
