Share market update: Power shares up; Adani Transmissions jumps 6%

NEW DELHI: The BSE Power index was up in Monday’s morning session.

Shares of Adani Transmissions (up 5.73 per cent) , Adani PowerNSE -0.08 % (up 2.34 per cent) , GMR Infrastructure (up 2.21 per cent) , JSW Energy (up 2.18 per cent) , Torrent Power (up 1.79 per cent) , Tata Power Company (up 1.03 per cent) , Thermax (up 0.51 per cent) , Bharat Heavy Electricals (up 0.43 per cent) , ABB India Ltd (up 0.39 per cent) and Siemens (up 0.04 per cent) were among the top gainers.
