Share market update: Power shares slip; BHEL down 2%
NEW DELHI: The BSE Power index was down in Friday’s morning session.
Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 1.98 per cent) , ABB IndiaNSE -1.70 % (down 1.73 per cent) , Adani TransmissionNSE -1.89 % (down 1.67 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India (down 1.29 per cent) were trading in the losses.
JSW Energy (down 1.21 per cent) , NTPC (down 1.13 per cent) , Thermax (down 0.54 per cent) and Adani Power (down 0.50 per cent) too were trading lower.
