Share market update: Power shares mixed; RInfra surges 10%

NEW DELHI: The BSE Power index was up in Tuesday’s morning session.

Shares of Reliance Infrastructure (up 9.84 per cent) , Thermax (up 2.44 per cent) , Adani TransmissionNSE 6.13 % (up 1.95 per cent) and Kalpataru Power Transmissions (up 1.13 per cent) were the top performers in the index.

Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 2.75 per cent ) , NHPC (down 2.30 per cent ) , KEC International (down 1.39 per cent ) and JSW Energy (down 0.80 per cent ) were among the top losers in the index.
