Share market update: Power shares mixed; Adani Transmission rises 2%
NEW DELHI: The BSE Power index was flat in Thursday’s morning session.
Shares of Adani Transmission (up 2.42 per cent), SiemensNSE 1.00 % (up 0.82 per cent), Bharat Heavy Electricals (up 0.36 per cent) and Adani PowerNSE 4.66 % (up 0.33 per cent) were the top performers in the index.
Reliance Infrastructure (down 2.42 per cent), Torrent Power (down 1.26 per cent), JSW Energy (down 1.08 per cent) and NHPC (down 0.64 per cent) were trading with losses.
The S&P BSE Power index was trading 0.06 per cent up at 1919.50 around 11:07 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 4.65 points at 11,459.35 while the BSE Sensex was up 40.59 points at 38,639.58.
