Share market update: Power shares gain; Adani Transmission surges 9%
NEW DELHI: The BSE Power index was up in Friday’s morning session.
Shares of Adani Transmission (up 8.82 per cent) , Adani PowerNSE 3.33 % (up 7.15 per cent) , JSW EnergyNSE 1.03 % (up 6.13 per cent) and Tata Power Company (up 3.28 per cent) were the top performers in the index.
Thermax (up 2.87 per cent) , Torrent Power (up 2.05 per cent) , NTPC (up 1.47 per cent) and ABB India (up 1.02 per cent) too were trading higher.
