Share market update: OMCs trade in the green; HPCL, ONGC among top gainers

NEW DELHI: OMCs were trading in the green in Monday’s session with their sectoral index on BSE trading higher.

Shares of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (up 3.66 per cent) , Oil And Natural Gas Corporation (up 2.79 per cent) , Indian Oil CorporationNSE 1.59 % (up 2.48 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 1.15 per cent) were trading higher.

Castrol India (up 1.05 per cent) , Indraprastha Gas (up 0.87 per cent) , Petronet LNG (up 0.78 per cent) and Reliance Industries (up 0.62 per cent) too were trading higher.

The S&P BSE Oil & Gas index was trading 1.43 per cent up at 14,827.48 around 11:02 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 61.75 points at 11,366.80 while the BSE Sensex was up 197.14 points at 38,324.22.
