Share market update: Nifty Energy Index up; Adani Transmissions rises 3%
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Energy index was trading higher in Monday’s afternoon session.
Shares of Adani Transmissions (up 3.41 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (up 2.26 per cent), HPCL (up 1.72 per cent), NTPC (up 1.6 per cent), Reliance Industries (up 1.43 per cent), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (up 1.25 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation (up 1.18 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 0.48 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The Nifty Energy index was trading 1.29 per cent up at 13826.6 around 12:17 pm.
