Share market update: Nifty Energy index flat; GAIL India gains 2%
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Energy index was trading flat with a positive bias in Tuesday’s morning session.
Shares of GAIL (India) (up 1.89 per cent), NTPCNSE 0.71 % (up 1.37 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of IndiaNSE 1.08 % (up 0.95 per cent), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (up 0.04 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum CorporationNSE -0.09 % (up 0.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Reliance IndustriesNSE 0.31 % (down 0.9 per cent), HPCL (down 0.69 per cent), Adani Transmissions (down 0.24 per cent) and Indian Oil Corporation (down 0.04 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
