Share market update: BSE Power index up; Adani Power gains 3%
NEW DELHI: The BSE Power index was up in Wednesday’s morning session.
Shares of Adani Power (up 3.49 per cent) , GMR InfrastructureNSE -2.07 % (up 2.22 per cent) , Reliance InfrastructureNSE 0.99 % (up 2.20 per cent) and Thermax (up 1.57 per cent) were the top performers in the index.
ABB India (up 1.42 per cent) , Torrent Power (up 1.35 per cent) , Bharat Heavy Electricals (up 1.07 per cent) and JSW Energy (up 0.91 per cent) too were trading in the green.
The S&P BSE Power index was trading 0.62 per cent up at 1941.46 around 11:22 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 34.95 points at 11,038 while the BSE Sensex was up 142.62 points at 37,288.07.
