Share market update: BSE Oil & Gas index up; BPCL, HPCL among top gainers

NEW DELHI: OMCs were trading in the green in Wednesday’s session with their sectoral index on BSE trading higher.

Shares of Bharat Petroleum Corporation (up 4.97 per cent) , Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (up 1.61 per cent) , Castrol IndiaNSE 0.65 % (up 1.08 per cent) and Reliance Industries (up 0.56 per cent) were trading higher.

Gujarat State Petronet (up 0.55 per cent) , Indian Oil Corporation (up 0.51 per cent) , Petronet LNG (up 0.29 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation (up 0.07 per cent) too were trading in the green.

The S&P BSE Oil & Gas index was trading 1.03 per cent up at 15,047.77 around 10:58 am.
