Sector 63 residents pitch for infra boost

Residents of the Chandigarh Housing Board flats in Sector 63 met councillor Heera Negi today and sought improvement in basic facilities such as roads and street lights. They also demanded setting up of a community centre in the area.

The newly elected body of 3BHK Residents Weflare Association, Sector 63, led by president Paramjeet Singh, also demanded setting up of bay shops, walking track, light pole for sports ground and an open air gym in the area.

“Roads here are in poor condition. They have not been recarpeted for over five years now,” said one of the residents.
