Second death reported in Jharia electrocution incident

Death of Vanita devi (34) on Friday late night happens to be the second death reported in the family of five members who were electrocuted about a fortnight ago in Jharia.

Last week her 14-year-old daughter Sanvi had succumbed to her burn injuries while undergoing treatment. Her two other kids, two-year-old son Satyam and eight-year-old daughter Vansika, too are under critical condition now undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Ranchi following the burn injuries they had sustained in an attempt to save their mother .

All four along with one of their relatives Rahul Keshri were electrocuted on November 8 while the iron poll that Rahul was trying to fix on top of his house got connected to 11,000 volt wire.
