Scindia debuts DigiYatra: Facial recognition launched at three airports today

Civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Thursday launched DigiYatra, a system that lets air travellers to enter the airport in the nation’s capital using a facial recognition technology. With DigiYatra, airport check-in will be paperless and passenger data can be processed automatically using a facial recognition system at multiple checkpoints, including security checkpoint locations.
