SBI likely to approach Adani group to discuss the Hindenburg report

NEW DELHI: In light of the Hindenburg report exposing the Adani Group, in which strategic state entities such as LIC and SBI have also made liberal investments, It is learned that SBI will approach the Adani group to discuss the report. According to ET Now, SBI will confirm with the Adani group, whether the Hindenburg Report is motivated or not. It also stated that the discussion on the Hindenburg report with the group is completely part of the procedure that a bank follows.

Furthermore, the bank has stated before that they are not concerned about Adani’s group. According to them, the exposure of SBI to Adani group is well below the Large Exposure Framework(LEF) of RBI.
