Saudi Aramco chief Yasir Al-Rumayyan joins Reliance Board, deal with Saudi giant could happen this year

Reliance Industries NSE -2.45 % chairman Mukesh Ambani announced that Saudi Aramco chief Yasir Al-Rumayyan will join the RIL board as an independent director.

During the 44th AGM, the RIL chairman said that the discussions with Saudi Aramco are on and the deal could be formalised this year.

The RIL chairman further added that Saudi Aramco chief’s presence on RIL board is the beginning of “internationalisation of Reliance”.
