Rush to make up for Jet’s loss: British Airways increases flights to Bengaluru
New Delhi: As airlines from both India and the UK try to fill the void in connectivity between India and London after the grounding of Jet Airways, British Airways today announced that it is adding more flights this spring to its daily schedule from Bengaluru to London Heathrow.
“The airline will be increasing its existing weekly schedule with three additional flights from Bengaluru to Heathrow, from April 2020, offering those customers who want to travel during the busy spring period more flexibility,” said a release from the airline.
This announcement by British Airways follows an announcement by Virgin Atlantic, which has announced to connect Delhi with Manchester, for the first time, starting from October 2020.
