Rules relaxed, airlines resume meals on all domestic flights
NEW DELHI: Indian carriers will soon start serving/selling meals on under two-hour-long domestic flights, with the government on Tuesday removing this restriction imposed in April, during second Covid-19 wave.
GoAir said it has resumed this service on all flights from Wednesday.
IndiGo, which flies almost 6 in every 10 domestic passengers, will resume this from Friday (Nov 19). SpiceJet will also do the same from Friday.
Flight caterers are heaving a sigh of relief as their business has been badly hit since last March and are now hoping for a revival.
