Rooftop solar scheme gets new name, and ₹75,000 crore allocation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana rooftop solar scheme with an investment of over ₹75,000 crore.
“In order to further sustainable development and people’s wellbeing, we are launching the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana,” PM Modi said on microblogging platform X.
