Roads repair works stepped up across Chhattisgarh
Following instructions from Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, road repair works have been stepped up across Chhattisgarh.
“The government has issued approval of Rs 5,680 crore for 520 works under the Chhattisgarh Road and Infrastructure Development Corp (CRIDC) Ltd”, a communiqué from the government said on Sunday.
Approval of Rs 4,891 crore has been given for 429 important roads of 3,110 km in length and Rs 788 crore for the construction of 91 high-level bridges, it said.
CRIDC said an expenditure of Rs 1,109 crore has been made so far on the construction works.
