Roads in tatters in S’pur MP Adarsha Gram

Kudgunderpur gram panchayat, an island in the Mahanadi down Sambalpur, was treated as a cutoff zone earlier as it was surrounded by the river from all sides. But the present Government honouring the long demand of the people, constructed a bridge to the island that has been completed recently and people have started using it.

Kudgunderpur has also been taken up as the MP Adarsha Gram where lot of developmental works are to be undertaken. But the roads inside the GP comprising six big villages are in dilapidated condition for which the villagers are yet to get the real benefit of the new bridge.
