FII flows are more a function of what is happening globally rather than what is the domestic picture. What has happened over the years is that India’s allocation in the emerging markets basket has moved up because of the increasing free float of many of the companies. As a result, whenever there is a huge flow into the emerging markets ETFs or overall emerging market funds, India gets a decent share of that. All emerging markets are getting those flows. Even markets like Korea or Hong Kong have been trending up.
