Resolution of power consumers’ problems now ‘sambhav’
Describing `Sambhav’ as a revolutionary scheme to resolve the problems of the consumers, Energy Minister AK Sharma said resolution of people’s problems in such a large number in a short time pointed to good governance.
He was talking to reporters after reviewing the ‘Sambhav’ scheme on Thursday. During the review, he monitored the public hearings held so far at the levels of executive engineer, superintending engineer and managing director and resolved complaints on the spot by having virtual dialogue with the consumers.
Sharma instructed the managing directors of all the discoms to take strict action against officers who were lax in handling the works and complaints.
