Residents seek repair of Dugri-Dhandra stretch, threaten to go on hunger strike

Infuriated over frequent mishaps on the badly broken Dugri-Dhandra road stretch and potholed road portion near the Dugri police station, shopkeepers and residents threatened to go on a hunger strike if these stretches are not repaired.

Sanjeev Gupta of the Market Shopkeepers and Residents’ Association on Dugri-Dhandra Road said a portion outside the Dugri police station and a stretch of the Dugri-Dhandra road were in a bad condition for a long time but the administration and the Municipal Corporation had failed to pay attention.
