Renewables key to ending subsidy burden in Madhya Pradesh: CM Mohan Yadav

Madhya Pradesh is turning the spotlight on renewables, aiming to provide cheaper, reliable and regular green power to its farmers as well as household consumers by relying on new and innovative solutions and supporting the projects, as its looks to eliminate the energy subsidy burden in the next few years, chief minister Mohan Yadav said.

The state is working on solar, wind and storage projects, including decentralised units, along with conventional power to have sufficient supply for its growing electricity demand.
