Reliance stops importing Russian crude for refinery operations

Reliance Industries, India’s biggest importer of Russian crude oil, on Thursday said it has stopped Russian crude oil into its SEZ (special economic zone) refinery with effect from 20 November.
RIL owns and operates twin refineries in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The facility is the largest and most complex single-site refinery in the world with 1.4 million barrels per day (MMBPD) crude processing capacity and a complexity index of 21.1—the highest in the world.
