Reliance Power says CERC allows tariff increase from Sasan UMPP
Reliance Power on Monday said the electricity regulator has allowed a 9 paise per unit or 7% increase in tariff for power supplied from the company’s Sasan ultra mega power project.
The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has allowed Reliance Power to pass through electricity duty rate and energy development cess on sale of power to Madhya Pradesh and on auxiliary power consumption, the company said in a statement.
The company said the CERC has also granted it a one-time compensation of Rs 271 crore.
