Reliance Power drops 3% as YES Bank sells shares in bulk deal
Shares of Anil Ambani Group’s Reliance PowerNSE -2.70 % dropped 3 per cent in Wednesday’s trade after YES BankNSE -5.58 % sold over 3 crore shares in an open market transaction on Tuesday.
According to bulk deal data on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the private lender sold a total of 3,02,59,855 shares, representing 1.07 per cent of total shareholding in Reliance Power.
The bank sold the shares at an average price of Rs 1.91 apiece, which took the total deal value to over Rs 5.77 crore. The buyer, however, could not be ascertained.
